Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all projects undertaken by Picto Design Studio. By engaging our services, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

Picto Design Studio specializes in video marketing strategies for SaaS companies and other industries, offering services such as 2D explainer videos, product launch videos, product demo videos, reels, motion graphics, and voice-over production. Our process may vary by project but typically includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, illustration, voice-over, animation, and final delivery.

2. Payment Terms

  • We require 50% upfront to start a project, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery of the final video.
  • Clients who pay 100% upfront are eligible for a 10% discount.
  • Accepted payment methods: Local bank transfer, international wire transfer, PayPal, or Payoneer.
  • Work will only commence once the initial payment is received.

3. Revisions

  • We include up to two (2) rounds of revisions per stage (script, storyboard, illustration, voice-over, animation) at no additional cost.
  • All revision requests for a stage must be provided in one consolidated list to maintain efficiency.
  • Changes to previously approved stages may incur extra charges.
  • Additional revisions beyond the included two rounds will be charged at our standard hourly or per-revision rate, depending on the complexity.
  • Major changes that alter the project scope will be treated as a new project or additional service.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refunds are calculated based on the work not yet completed.
  • If a client decides to stop the project mid-way, we will refund the unused portion after deducting the cost of work already completed.
  • If the client is inactive for 29 days or more, we may cancel the project without a refund.
  • Projects paused for 29+ days may require additional fees to resume.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must attend an onboarding call at the start and an offboarding call after project completion.
  • Timely feedback and approvals are essential to avoid delays.
  • Each project stage must be approved in writing (email) before moving forward.
  • Delays in providing feedback will directly impact delivery timelines.

6. Delivery and Timelines

  • Standard delivery format: 1920×1080 HD (custom sizes available upon request).
  • Delivery timelines depend on project scope and complexity.
  • Deadlines are agreed upon in advance but may shift due to client delays or scope changes.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

  • Upon full payment, the client receives complete ownership of the final video, voice-over recordings, and related deliverables.
  • Picto Design Studio may use the completed work in our portfolio or promotional materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

8. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including unresponsiveness from the client.
  • If no feedback is received within 9 days, the project will enter soft hold.
  • If no communication occurs for 29+ days, the project will enter hard hold and may require reallocation fees to resume.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • We aim to resolve disputes amicably and directly with the client.
  • If resolution is not possible, the matter will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City, India].
  • Both parties agree to act reasonably to prevent unnecessary disputes.

10. Confidentiality

  • All client information and materials will remain confidential.
  • We are open to signing an NDA if requested.
  • Any data shared will only be used for project purposes.
